Accessing the Teacher Menu

The Teacher Menu is only available when LearnPad is unlocked. It contains resources that you only want to make available to the teacher, such as an unlocked browser.

The Teacher Menu is available by tapping “Teacher” on the extended menu:



Assigning a Custom Teacher Menu

The Teacher Menu is a category that is assigned to the organisation. All LearnPads enrolled in the organisation will use the same teacher menu. You can assign any of your categories to be the Teacher Menu within your organisation settings.

Simply log in and click the organisation name at the top right of the screen:


Locate the “Content Settings” section and select any of your organisations existing categories from the “Teacher Category” list:



Customising the Default Teacher Menu

You may want to use the existing Teacher Menu as a base for creating your own Teacher Menu. This can be done by creating a copy of the default Teacher Menu.

1)      Log in to your organisation.

2)      Click on the “Content” tab.

3)      Click on the Teacher Tools category.

4)      Click the star to select this category.

5)      Click on the “Manage” tab.

6)      Click on “Categories” under “CONTENT” on the left hand menu.

7)      Click on the Teacher Tools category in the list.

8)      From the actions menu click on “Copy Category”


9)  Choose a name for the new category.

10)   You can now modify the category as you would for any other category.
